Just got following reply from Dish Networkse not doing individual games. You can only buy the season or monthly package. Looked on Direct TV site but couldn't find any info of how they are selling games:

From Dish Networks:
Thank you for responding. The season package includes up to 40 weeks of English Premier League soccer games on Saturdays and Sundays. Customers must call 1-800-333-DISH to order the season package. Customers can call 1-800-333-DISH or 1-877-DISHPPV to order each monthly package. Individual games are not available for purchase. Packages are not available for ordering via remote.

Channel(s): 455 - 465 & 459 - 536
Date: 8/17/02 - 5/31/03
Price: $269.95 for season package, # 92216
$59.95 for monthly package

don't know abot your finances , but for $270 +/- you get every match both sat and sun on direct tv.

they can break that up into 4 payments. now here comes the commercial , "call your provider today!"

A lot is the principle, for one they will not list what games are being shown more than one week in advance.

With 3 free other Prem games on over weekend I am not bothered about buying any other games besides United.

I don't like being forced to buy things you don't need. We already have to do that with regular programming. I have to buy 150 channels to watch the 5 I watch, feckers don't even do networks.

$270 buys the Canadian system...I'm very tempted.

foxsw know that there are a shed load of MU fans stateside so most matchs are ppv not the free ones. you'll get some mid-week games but the money fox makes is mainly from MU fans. i can't wait for the tape delay , makes me nuts.
