Buying an XBOX 360 tomorrow, and will get a free game with it - either Pro Evo 09 or Fifa 09...which is best on the XBOX?

Also, what other games for xmas should I look at getting? Dont have a clue, whats good or whats not, or whats new for xmas...

Any ideas would be welcome
 
Personally I think FIFA is the better game but I don't know which is better on XBox, I assume the same as which is better on PS3 which is still fifa imo.

IMO COD4 is much better than COD5.

Then again, I'm not very fond of FPS on consoles either. I prefer them a lot more on PC.


Try Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed as well if you're into that kind of thing.
 
Shouldn't you wait until nearer Christmas so that you have a vague chance of the RRoD not appearing until after the holidays? :)

COD WAW is by a different company than COD4 so I am not surprised it is shit.

Played both for 360, FIFA is the superior product and has more features. The overall feel of the controls has much improved over FIFA 2008
 
Although I'm a PES fan through and through, I'd say FIFA for you.

Since you're asking, I'd assume you don't know much about either game. FIFA has a better overall package from what I can tell(although I prefer the PS gameplay-that may just be down to preference and what I'm used to), particularly on the online side of things. It also has all the licenses etc, although I dunno whether you're into that sort of thing.
 
Im a Pes fan myself, most my mates have PS3s and all of them play the new Pes 09.

I just fancied a cheap console at xmas, and it comes with a game (fifa or pes) so just wondered which would be best for me to play on the xbox.

Sounds like most people think Fifa...
 
i have both fifa and pro evo on 360, don't play pro evo anymore. not sure why but it just doesn't make me want to play it.

Other games to get are cod 4 and 5 (ive got a spare cod 4 if anyone is interested in buying it, its used but in mint condition, drop me a pm), graw 2, mirrors edge is quite good, i like far cry 2 but it can get a little tedious, dead space has got some good reviews, havent really got into that as of yet but from what ive played it seems to be quite good, fallout 3 is also a good game.

call of duty 5 isn't shit. yes its by treyarch who are responsible for the travesty that was cod3) but it uses the same game engine, all they have done is changed the content and tacked on zombie mode.
