Just listening to a CD of 60's:

"Excerpt from a teenage opera" by Keith West. Unusual, weird song but great.

Another couple:

"McAuthur's Park by Richard Harris (the recently deceased actor)

"Bohemian Rapsody" by the Queen

"Walk on the wild side" by Lou Reed.

All great songs that defy being categorised.

Any others?

That is a pretty weird song. Favourite bit:

Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!

I can feel your pain, dude...

Grocer Jack, Grocer Jack, is it true what people say we're gonna win the Football League?

(Bohemian Rhapsody is the biggest pile of steaming pretentious shite masquerading as a pop song in the history of the Universe by the way)

What about "Year of the cat "- Al Stewart.

"On a morning from a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time
You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre
Contemplating a crime
She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running
Like a watercolor in the rain
Don't bother asking for explanations
She'll just tell you that she came
In the year of the cat"

Absolute Class!
