The little welcome box at the top right has been telling me for the last few weeks that I have an unread message. When I go through my pm box there are no such messages.

It happened right at the start of the werewolf game so I didn't want to bring it up in here at the time. But it's annoying me now.

Hold the phones...I got it.

There was a message at the bottom of the old folder that was dated Jan 1st 1970. I deleted it and now the unread is gone.

It resets some internal message counter. I think you can just select all messages (checkbox in red bar) and delete all and it works too.

He'd be deleting the messages, not the word file they were saved to, shithead.
