Caution be held...ESPN.com is the rumor king when dealing with potential free agent signings or trades in US pro sports...however, Howard will be a solid GK someday, not sure if he'll reach the level of Friedel, but might become better than Keller...he'll be #2 in 2006, behind Friedel, and will take over after the WC when Friedel steps down from international competition...

Howard will be just as good as Friedel, if not better. His athleticism is unprecedented, and his positioning and reading of the game is amazing for someone who is only just 24.

Is ok,buy him since he must be quite cheap to be traded in.Then if he isn't that good then do the same thing we done to Taibi to him.
