United women on international duty 2025 | February squads

Middleton-Patel and Griffiths are in the Wales squad.
Hopefully Mared will get some playing time. She needs minutes and Wales needs goalscorers. It would be great if she can do enough to make the Wales squad for the Euros.

Scarlett Hill* has also been called up by Wales. She's 17, a defender and she's previously been in the England youth setup - so this is a country switch for her as well.

* What a great name for a United player :)

Mannion started for Ireland - won 1-0
Malard started for France - won 1-0
Toone and Clinton started for England - draw 1-1
Griffiths came on as sub for Wales

In other news..
Lucia Garcia came on as sub and scored in injury time to help Spain beat Belgium 3-2
Ladd played her hundredth game for Wales, but Wales lost 1-0 to Italy.

Excellent win for England v Spain last night. Clinton (90 mins) and Toone (63 mins) represented us, MLT and Millie unused subs. Ex reds Russo and James played, Earps didn't. For Spain Batlle and Garcia both started.

That's NINE United players, past and present, with George also in the squad. Oh what could have been!

Earps

Batlle
Maya
Millie
George

Clinton
Zelem
Toone

Garcia
Russo
James

P.S. Might as well throw Greenwood into the mix as well.

Jayde Riviere played a couple of matches for (Casey Stoney's) Canada with wins against Mexico and Taipei. They drew against China. Overall, they won the round robin tournament. Simi Awujo was in the squad but I don't think she played this time. Fortunately for us the tournament was in Spain, so no long trek for the players.

Looks like Jayde played left back. Good cross for the second (?) goal v Taipei.
