united still team to beat

we can analyse and debate uniteds performance last night till we are blue in the face but the simple fact of the matter is that united are a bigger scalp to beat than arsenal or liverpool at home.you can guarentee that bolton won,t play as defensively against either of these teams when it happens.although extremely disappointing and frustrating to be beaten 2 years in succession by the same sucker punch that has plagued us for a while now it is time to get behind the team and i for one am confident that we will get a good result against leeds on saturday as we play better against open attacking teams.all the press intrusion doesn't help either.being on the front and back pages of the paper every day doesn't help as it puts constant un-neccessary pressure on the players.you could argue that this is part of playing for one of the most high profile clubs in the world but liverpool and arsenal are quitely getting on with it and i feel its time for united to get back to basics and work harder on their game in training in order to eradicate these disappointments.

You can see that in the CL. European sides dont shite their kecks when they have to play the Arse. They do when they know they have to play United however! ;)

Thats true

Those Hungarian farmers were bricking it as they beat you..

;)

Davo, you still don't fecking get do you!! We are THE entertainers - it's a roller coaster ride for us & it's a totally deliberate policy on the part of the management at United - this season we will rise form the ashes to overcome all after being in the relegation zone in January. On the other hand we'll just fall flat on our faces!!! But thats entertainment - you scousers should know all about that after all didn't you invent comedy ;)

You certainly are entertaining...

I wish us boring scousers could play the attacking football you've displayed of late..

;)

But your defence is rapidly catching up with our defence of last season in entertainment value :p

They didn't just sit back and defend last night, they had several chances and did come and attack, but when they lost the ball they quickly got everyone back. And there's nothing new about teams doing that at OT, its us who's standards have slipped.
