United need assistant manager

It's clear we have to appoint an assistant manager. But who?
Peter Taylor is out of a job and (despite his Leicester disaster) is highly respected as a coach.
Brian McClair has done well with the reserves
Could we get Cantona back?
Are there any others out there up to the job?

I am very sure we will have one ... and if it's Peter Taylor then I raised my hands and legs to support it !! ... the guy is good ... and I actually think he have quite some similarity with Fergie ... and he sure is in the good book of the lads - he's the one that started Beckham as the national captain !!

Just one point ... knowing Fergie - he might go for a younger one IMO ... Kidd to McClaren ... well at quite a young age ... He might think he need some energetic fellow to supplement him off the field ...

Let's see ... but I am very sure we will have a new No.2

I'm not sure we will get one, Alex has said he won't. He's hinted at getting a general manager so he doesn't have to do so much paperwork, or an assistant manager could do this, but not a new head coach. He's also said he'll get someone to replace the academy head coach who is leaving. I hope he changes his mind on this though.

I agree, and this assistant needs to think defensively so we stop doing this stupid mistakes.

Lou Macari or Frank Stapleton wud be great, but Andy Gray and Sir Alex don't get on. something happened at an interview years ago on sky sports after a match apparently.

George Graham it is then. :D

I never thought I'd hear myself saying this - I couldn't stand Graham as a manager! But you can't question his defensive nous.
