United will definitely be without David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand, Roy Keane, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville, Laurent Blanc and David May for the game against Basel.

Such giantkillers as Basel must be hoping for a win with David May out of the clash. O'Shea and Brown will surely start in the centre-half positions. And is they can put three past Sami "the best defender in the world ever" Hyypia, then surely... <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />
 
Too much fecking quality to play in a shite match like this.
 
I must say I am little worried about this game, Basle maybe virtual nobodies but at home thay are a force to be reckoned with and there is no doubt they are a form team.

Their attack if ver very quick, I can see Fergie palying this one very tight, a point would be a good result considering our injuries.

Feck I wish we had Butt and Keane back, its been an age since Ive seen Keano in a red shirt.

Liverpool have actually done us a favour. We know the Basel have the capability to score. We also know that they have a tendancy to be a bit naive when defending. Conceding 3 goals against a shite attack like the Dippers.
We know they will try and get ahead early. As long as that don't happen we should be able to beat them well.
I posted 4-0 on the Basel forum and got laughed at so i hope it finishes 4-0. Ruud 2, Forlan and Scholes
