would love to have puyol, but this guys not too bad either, was sound defensively.

Very good player, at least based on what I watched of him in the WC and African Nations Cup.

But don't forget that PLC statement, "buy before we sell"....

Kenyon said: "You can never say no about what you might have to pay in the future, but the reality is that whether you pay £10million or £30million it has to be in line with what the business can afford".

That decent enough for 'Kenyon: We must sell to buy' headlines, but surely it's an answer to a certain question rather than announcement. Five players left the club, the squad is lacking, and if we sell players to buy others it will still be lacking.

Anyhow, it seems as though Fergie believes he can add a couple of cheapish players, and I really don't think he'd go head to head with Kenyon in the media. He can just throw things at him face to face.

at the moment the senegal player are quite cheap compared to other players of similar qualities.

Best defender in the WC next to Ferdinand, but where would he fit in, he's not going to move to become a squad player?

Why would we buy a RB? We've already got three, as Phil, Gary and Wes all can play RB.

I don't agree, Fergie and Peter are 100% on the same wavelength. The main aim for Peter to say such things is to back off the media. Fergie decides who to buy and Peter makes the profit, that's the way it has always been. (Full Stop)

Where's the disagreement? I too said I doubt Fergie and Kenyon are having a media battle.

Wonder if this link is related to this news about <a href="http://www.planetfootball.com/article.asp?id=102007&clid=&cpid=23&Title=Puyol+to+shun+offers" target="_blank">Puyol</a>

I would be very happy if Coly was signed. One of my closest friends works with Coly's brother. I could get tickets to attend United games, and some informations from "inside"...
