Nik(@Rood) and Imran(@Annihilate Now!) are here with a special bonus podcast to talk about the potential candidates for the managerial role at Manchester United. They talk Ten Hag, Pochettino, Enrique and others, before moving on to discuss International Reds, and the latest goings on with MUST, proposed fan shareholder schemes, and the Glazers.

I have listened to it. It is an excellent episode. Although it could have done a third person as it is more about soul searching and accepting the reality of where we actually are and what steps need to be taken to making progress on a long term basis.

Cheers mate - we have been trying to get 3 of us on for a while to do a quiz but schedules never seem to align.
Back in the day we regularly had 3 or 4 and even 5 (which was a mess TBF)

Anyway hopefully the extra opinions edited in from @AR87 @Raees @That'sHernandez and banned David will suffice for now

I'll try and make myself available for a recording soon. I struggle after October as my part time uni starts, which means between working full time and having two young children I struggle to get on as many pods as I would like!

I think the feeling I get from chats with the guys is we are sort of accepting of where we are at. I know Imran has said he wouldn't turn his nose up at Europa League and I am broadly in agreement because that seems to be our level at the moment. And I think there's no shame in acknowledging that so long as we are on an upward trajectory

I'll be available again from this weekend too. Been a tough month for me with a lot going on personally so hopefully back to normal soon.

A very good episode, i enjoyed it. One thing regarding next manager...i think that football do hate us indeed. As it seems we will pick either Poch (whom i consider a poor manger with meek personality) or Ten Hag. Please do remember that two former Ajax managers (De Boer and Brosz) did not last full seaon when they moved to serious leagues (Crystal Palace and Borussia). So Ten Hag is a major risk. it could go either way. Poch is not, i know he will fail. When I say football gods hate us i mean the WC date is very unfortunate. IMHO Luis Enrique is the ideal candidate to step in. If it was up to me i would move havens to get him even if that meant waiting until January.

I dont agree on Poch but its a fair point about the history of Ajax managers in other leagues - I will say that Ten Hag's strong CL record elevates him higher up the list though

I would not be against giving Ralf another 6 months if it meant the ideal candidate was available, but seems the club have decided the change is needed ASAP

The new pod is out and we have a discussion about whether 'PL proven' is worth anything when assessing managers

I hope that whomever it may turn out to be, brings a harmony to the team that we haven't seemingly had in while, and that there is a tighter bond between the two first teams.

So we see men's players coming to watch women's games & vice-versa, and just having much more of an interaction between them then there seemingly is right now.

A true one club mentality would be great.
Seeing Ella and Ronaldo working on things, or Millie Turner and Varane, Ladd & Matic.

I just want to see positivity being brought back to the club as a whole.

Thank you, enjoyed that, it's the only Utd podcast i listen too, so please keep them coming.
What players do you and the lads think we can realistically see leaving at the end of the season.

Honestly you don't want to taint the successful Women's team by associating them with the shitshow that is the Men's team !

Several are sure to leave (Cavani, Lingard, Pogba) and then a few likely Henderson, Mata, Jones etc

So that's a fair bit of churn before you start thinking about the likes of Ronaldo, Bailly, Van de Beek

Probably haven't seen this much change in one summer since the LvG cull soon after he arrived
