Morning troops! Another episode for you guys to enjoy before the last EL group game tomorrow.

Imran(@Annihilate Now!), Ashwin(@AR87) and Jamie(@Vault Dweller) discussed United's sort of deserved, sort of nervy win over West Ham. They reserve lots of praise for De Gea, Martinez and Dalot, as well as celebrate Rashford's up-turn in form and his 100 goals for the club. They also preview this weeks Europa League crunch-tie away against Real Sociedad, before finishing on possibly the worst Imran's Stupid Game so far...

Listened to it yesterday, I am a bit surprised nobody mentioned that our players looked really tired against West Ham - especially Eriksen, but also Rashford and Bruno. It doesn't bode well for Real Sociedad game.

I think we should start with Fred - Casemiro in midfield on Thursday, with Bruno out on Sunday against Villa we will probably shape differently and Eriksen will be key.

Yeah agreed - thought that was a huge part of the second half from about the 50th min. No press and the entire midfield/forward line looking very leggy.

I do think a few players are on the verge of being overplayed

e.g. Eriksen at the start of the season (injury was well timed in that respect), Casemiro more recently. Martinez and Dalot have played a crazy amount of minutes too.

I expected more rotation in that hectic October, matches like Omonia and Sheriff in particular - I understand that we need to top the group but still

I think in hindsight we shouldn't have rotated so much for that Sociedad home game, perhaps then we could have been in a position to rest a few tomorrow instead.

There wasn't much rotation - only Bruno was rested IIRC
We had injures upfront though and Charlie McNeill made his only appearance of the season from bench

In the end it was a bad penalty decision that killed us

Mentioned that on the pod, still annoyed AF over that.
