United Fans In the USA

I'm wondering about the existence of United fans in the US. more especially the Memphis area as that's where I'm currently based. There's a huge amount of people playing football in this city, but from my own experience no-one watches.

Religiously I went out to the pub to watch the Saturday morning game live and only on one occasion (5-3 v Newcastle)did I have company watching the game, and that's when an Dubliner arrived just in time for the 2nd half, having just flown from Chicago.

People look at you strange down here, if you beat your fist off the bar for what they think is no apparent reason. I'm referring specifically to the City match.

Not so in Toronto where there was healthy interest for the Sat morning match.

Memphis eh...? You know Elvis was a massive City fan... <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

Not that I'm in the U.S. but all the MU fans across the States should meet up in one location every 2 years. I think it would be a great thing..after 1 or 2 times there would even be possible to have some of the players visit - it's probably a massive meeting.

Spread the word ;)
