Because of the seedings United will play Depor plus one from Juve, Inter, and AC Milan plus one from Lokomotiv, Ajax, of the clockmakers who knocked out the dippers.

Oh okay, I hope that we get Inter as Juve are always going to be difficult and the faulty's as Ajax won't be easy and a trip to Moscow is always a bit unpredictable - just ask David Batty and Graeme Le Saux! :eek:

so thats settled at last then. we are likely to get barce, depor and milan in the next group.

Manchester United
Basle
Lokomotiv
Parma

Facts are that there are no easy groups anymore we got to buck up or we go out, we will not get an easy group so don't even imagine it. It's all uphill from here the time for mistakes has gone.
If we can get through the next group and make it to the final we will win the damn thing, but the next group will show if we are good enough or not. Giggs for one has to start performing. Among some others he seems to have lost his way. But it all comes down to getting a good run going around about the time when next group starts and with Keano coming back it will help us greatly, but chopping and changing formations and line up wont be any great help to us. I really want us to get this cup this time.

Giggs is a frustrating player to watch because you know what he is capable of. It seems to me that he is most effective when running at defenders because pace is what they are most scared of. I don't know if SAF is telling him to come inside more to give more support to whoever is playing behind Ruud, or if it is him that comes inside because he wants to get more chances at scoring goals, but he should be told to stay out on the wing and run at the defenders.

Also, WTF is up with you 'really wanting to win the cup this time'??? Like everyone doesn't feel like that every year? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I predict we will get Juventus, deportivo, and Ajax. if we are to get out of that group we gotta come good. If we do not get through then we have to ask some serious questions.

united will do well if they were to be drawn with juve, deportivo, and ajax IMO..

i want ajax so we can get to see their youngsters up close and personal.. Van Der Vaart will get his first feel of OT.. the place where his future lies.. :D

I feel that way too but we did not win it in 2000 nor did we win it in 2001, and now it is 2002(and final at home) so obviously I want us to win it this year, and also for the next trillion years until our Sun goes nova.

I seen him for the first time the other night and he looked very much like Lee Sharpe(in Appearence) to me, I think he looks very good too. We should make a serious move for him when this window thing is opened up as he is not really going to become any cheaper over the next few years.

definitely.. but he's not going to fit anywhere in our plans this season IMO.. he's cup tied.. he plays in either veron, giggs or scholes position.. so i think we'll have a lot of problems fitting him into the team.. i say wait till the summer then make the move.. he's definitely a player for the future, so i agree we need to get him before he becomes much more expensive.
