Anyone seen it? I saw and while imo it was the first of the three underworld's, it was a good movie. Give it 6.5-7/10

yeah the fact that she wasn't it made it worse. The other girl (rachel something I believe) is nothing compared to kate beckinsale, but what do expect in a prequel? They can't go and get Kate to play two characters in underworld.

No, sonya's name was thrown around in underworld one when the lycan leader (forgot his name) was talking about her in the first one. So it wasn't really just made up out of thin air. Why would they not want here in a third sequel? Was this the last one?They made the character up becase sexy didnt resign

Have to be honest, I have a soft spot for the Underworld movies. It's probably because of Beckinsale in leather. Might see this one.

This is all about Viktor, by far the coolest character in the story and his death especially the way it happened in 2 was a criminal injustice.

I know. Still might give it a watch though.sorry to disappoint but she's not starring in it.
The review I read basically described it as celluloid excrement that will hammer the last nail into the coffin of this particular "franchise".

None of the Underworld films got good reviews I don't think, I do like the other two though and I'll no doubt pop down to the cinema to watch the latest one. Even without the beautiful Kate to drool over.

Its not too bad a film. The first half is much much better than the last half. From the way it ended there should be a part four.

I saw this before i saw the other two.
Easily better then the other two story wise.
Sets Lucien and Victor up really well... and even the big black guy. Made me buy the other two on DVD. Underworld Evolution was the worst, and Underworld 1 was almost as good to me as rise of the lycans.
Although I will say Lucien in the underworld 1 and in RotL seem 2 different characters. Although i suppose he has been hardened over the years. Also funny how Beckinsale is said to remind victor of his daughter but the only Parallel Lucien drew was when she was hookin up with the ware-vampire.
Also victor and Luciens deaths seem so crap compared to how bad ass they both were in the prequal.
My favourite character is the vampire thath elps lucien in RotL and then is having constant orgies in Evolution.
