Im bored, theres nothing on tv either and im drinking. So we need some good tunes. Post your underrated, overlooked or completely obscure music here please.

The Blood Brothers - Love Rhymes with Hideous Car Wreck

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Black Bubblegum

I'm going for a Scandinavian double.

Agent Fresco - Above these city lights

Icelandic band that got 5 stars in Kerrang! magazine. The first 40 seconds of the songs are intense but then it gets a bit easier on the ear.

Alphabeat - Fascination

Danish band. This is just a plain and simple pop music. Something your girlfriend might like. I rate the music video and if you haven't heard the song yet, you will pretty soon.

and a extra song from the States
The Litter - I'm a man

A great psychadelic rock song from the 70's. This is a propper rock&roll.

solely because I happen to be listening to them right now ... 65daysofstatic

Awesome band, saw them live a while back. They any new stuff coming out?

I think a live album is due this year - I have seen them live quite a few times as a friend of mine used to promote their gigs in their early days but then they started to get some press and went with the big national promoter - sell outs!

listen to it all...absoulutely love when it starts kicking off around the 1:40 mark.

To me, it's still deserves airplay. But that's my tinted glasses.

Someone I work with has it as their ringtone - I hear it every fecking day

there are many other threads you could have posted that in ...

whasts the likliehood of us both posting fripp at the exact same time

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah

Probably my favourite band of this decade. They became popular over the internet a few years back. My friend gave me their first album, didn't like it at first, but kept listening. The lead singer's voice is pretty bad, but it becomes strangely addictive.

Where's Pillory? I had expected this to be a pill-magnet.

I think his brain went into overload trying to decide what exactly to post here ;)

today I have been mostly listening to ... Prem Joshua

Actually it was my computer that went into overload with all those YouTube vids in one page. So, let's see.

I was going to post something from Maher Shalal Hash Baz' 40-track, 40-minute masterpiece Blues du Jour, but there's nothing on YouTube, so here are Silver Jews covering Open Field instead.

Nico isn't very unfamous, but many people just think of her as a fecked-up German model who popped up at a couple of VU sessions and wailed a little. In reality she was a staggeringly brilliant and unique songwriter, and Secret Side is probably the best song ever.

In Gowan Ring - Hazel Steps

Colleen - Everyone Alive Wants Answers
