Under performing players should be sacked

Why it's the manager that pays the price for not winning,,,,under performing players should be shown the door.

Come on T, don't stoop to the level of the kneejerkers on here, we're all pissed off, we just have to take this one on the chin :(
 
You cannot sack a player under contract, because it loses vast amounts of money in their compensation and also you canot sell them on losing even more money.

And I agree with 77, except it is not their knees that they jerk!
 
The point is a fair one. Too often we see managers taking the blame for lack of committment on the pitch by so called super stars. The manager gets left unemployed while the players go on collecting a big fat pay check that they don't deserve. Not just at United. Leeds, Sunderland the list could go on.
Performance related pay would be a great step towards making the players realise that they have to earn their money everytime they play.
If we don't produce the goods in our jobs we risk being sacked, why should these over-paid, under performing players be any different.
