Prolifik Tactics/writeup

No change to the 4-3-3 formation, with Albert as false nine, Eusébio enjoying something of a free role although nominally on the right, and Rensenbrink in his customary wide forward position. The midfield fits like a glove with Silva shielding the back four, peak Matthäus in the box-to-box role, and Prosinečki pulling the strings. Behind them, Nesta replaces Aldair to complete a GOAT-level defence alongside Passarella, Carlos Alberto, and Cole, with Chilavert an imposing figure between the sticks. Carlos Alberto is the more adventurous full-back, while Cole is more balanced although still very capable on the overlap.

Silva supported by Matthäus is a brilliant tandem to keep tabs on Maradona, especially since there are also no weak spots in our back four to exploit. Albert as a false nine creates the challenge of whether to have one of the centre-backs step out to track him, or leave it to one of Essien or Van Hanegem, who will also be dealing with Prosinečki and Matthäus.

Sjor Tactics/writeup

Alisson Becker (Liverpool)

One of the foundations of Liverpool resurrection. Won PL, CL, FA Cup, Mickey Mouse Cup, FIFA Club World Cup while also being in numerous finals and breaking point records for a team that didnt win the league. With Brazil he won Copa America. Individual awards to many to even start but he pretty much won them all a one GK can win.

P. McGrath (Aston Villa)
One of the rare mistakes from Fergie, McGrath had a brilliant career at Aston Villa after Fergie let him go....won player of the club 4 times in a row, won PFA Players Player of the Year in 93 as well as being in Team of the Season for the same season.

F. Baresi (AC Milan)
One of the best defenders of all time.

J. Kohler (Dortmund)
All these hold even more weight as he did it as German Spurs - twice league winner and the CL winner with Dortmund! Was also a finalist of Uefa Cup on his last season. With Germany he won the Euro in 96 as well. Footballer of the year in 97 and twice in Kicker BL Team of the Season.

J. Angloma (Marseille)
Won the league and CL with Marseille while being in Euro Team of the Tournament for France in Euro 92

Marcelo (Real Madrid)
Best offensive fullback of all time.

M. Essien (Lyon)
Spent 2 seasons at Lyon and won league in both, in second season he won player of the year as well as being in Team of the Season.

W. van Hanegem
Best midfielder of his country won 3 league titles with Feyenoord, one cup, one European Cup and one Uefa Cup as well as being second in WC 74 and third in Euro 76, he was also Dutch player of the year in 1971

Diego Maradona (Napoli)

Gerd Muller

Best striker that ever played the game.

Rivaldo (Palmeiras)
In his 3 seasons there he scored 55 goals in 86 games while winning the league in 94, Campeonato Paulista in 96 and being the finalist of Copa De Brasil in same season. In 94 he won Bola De Plata which is best player of Campeonato Brasileiro

I'm not sure how you guys allowed Sjor to assemble the Baresi - Maradona - Müller core (all of them their peak versions) with a brilliant supporting cast as well... @prolifik 's team is excellent but I don't know how you're supposed to overcome that. Even with "Maradona's toughest opponent" (well, one of those) on the other side.

Sjor fixed all his weaknesses and built a juggernaut, pros teams is great but the opposition is just too strong.
