Are we bottom of the table or have you cut some of it off?

We're rubbish. Its a bit of a weird age group really, it's full of players who probably won't ever make it with us. Anyone really good at that age is already in the first team or spending significant time with them. U18s are more important imo.

#MUFC U23s v #WHUFC team: O'Hara, Riley, Shaw, Warren, Scott, Whelan, Boonen, Kehinde, Wilson, Buffonge, Mitchell

Needs that core of Kehinde, Buffonge and Boonen playing together (+Gribbin when he's back) and we'll be fine for this season.

This is shocking. Honestly everytime I watch them I can't believe how non-Utd this team is....only a few games in, they were equally bad last year. Like said, strange age group with a load of nothing players with little to no future at the club (you might include Shaw in that...)

Call me stupid but going to watch them against Liverpool. I must be a gluten for punishment

Yes, bottom of Division 1.

Thanks for the info all. Even if there are mostly players that won't make it here it just seems crazy that we're bottom of the table.

Sbragia is looking useless at the moment. The group isn't great, there's no one that i'd class as a special talent, but still you'd expect us to be playing at a much higher standard than these have shown so far.

I honestly don't get this appointment, it's like hiring the Moyes of youth football, he was a dinosaur 10 years ago in footballing terms.

Anyone tell me how McKenna is doing at u18 level?

Does seem bizarre we spent about a year to find the right man for the u23 job and decided on Sbragia.

Demi Mitchell scored twice. I don't know why we don't give him a run out at LB

The gem of this squad imo. I'd say at the very least he should be getting league cup minutes but unsure as to how Jose views him because despite some positive comments about him a while back, he's not been near the squad since pre-season, hoping that changes. Playing left wing isn't exactly helping his cause either although of course he can play there.

I can't forget how well Mitchell played vs Crystal Palace in May. I know it was a meaningless game but I thought he made the most of his opportunity. Maybe he'll take over Young's role as winger/wingback/fullback who provides cover for multiple positions from the bench or as a fill in for injured or rested players.
