Surprisingly this is actually live on MUTV. Happy days.

Powell returns

U21s vs West Brom: Amos, Varela, Evans, M.Keane, Blackett, Cole, Thorpe, Lingard, Januzaj, Powell, Henriquez

Just wondering when Bebe and Macheda are going to be sold. It cannot be good that they aren't getting any games. Maybe we could sell them to our new sponser as tyre fitters.

Is that Jonny Evans?? I guess he needs some game time...

Very strong lineup all round. Especially that front 4

Looking forward to see this team. Henriquez, Powell and Januzaj can hopefully play well together. Evans should keep it a lot tighter at the back than against Liverpool.

They're even talking about Mourinho on MUTV. You just can't escape him!

For people who like line-ups in number order then team is:

Amos, Varela, Blackett, Thorpe, Keane, Evans, Cole, Powell, Henriquez, Januzaj, Lingard

Subs: Lawrence, Sutherland, Ekangamene, A. Pereira, Rothwell

Why are MUTV so inept at working out the formation? It'll clearly be as GD posted above, not like a huge arrow as MUTV just showed in that graphics

Did Crerand just say that Powell hadn't played for Crewe's first team? The man is an idiot.

It's not Crerand and no he didn't. He was recounting a conversation he had with Dario Gradi back before Powell first played for Crewe's first team.

Nice try though ;)

Januzaj has had some lovely runs already. Is it just me or does Powell have quite a fat face?

I really hope Adnan puts it all together and makes it to the first team, he's just so classy to watch

Its interesting that he's been playing from the right, probably a sign that they want him to prepare to come into the team in that position when the opportunity arises.

Atkinson is showing plenty of signs of Januzitis: frustration, repeated fouls, an inescapable sense of impending doom...

Sounds like it's going well for us. Looking at the WBA teamsheet, I noticed Roofe on there. He's played a couple of times pre-season for their first team. How's he looked?

He played as a right winger when I saw him against Genoa, not sure if he'll be there now.

In fairness Crerand is terrible though. Hands down the worst commentator I've ever heard, even worse than David Pleat.

You have to be joking. Paddy's blatant bias and complete confusion make him hilarious to listen to. He does not take himself seriously unlike Pleat and Lawrenson.

He's funny because you are a United fan, and generally share his sentiment. He is not trying to be a comedian generally, his sounding funny is usually a result of him not having a clue what he's on about.

Also, he's just a poor commentator in general. COnstantly banging on as if he invented this theory 'aye, once he's in the box they know they can't touch him', amongst other favourites.

Of course, it matters very little overall, but let's not pretend he's actually any good. He could never be a Sky commentator, for example, and that's not just because of his bias.

He's on fire.
