Line up Vs West Brom from twitter;

Lindegaard, Vermijl, Fornasier, McGinty, Blackett, Thorpe, Veseli, Cole, Ekangamene, Lingard, Januzaj.

Subs; Gollini, McCullough, Cofie, Lawrence, Daehli

No one else watching ?

Januzaj missed one through on goal.

Januzaj has probably been our best player. Need more creativity in this team though.

Ht 0-0. Poor game so far.

If your going to set up with no strikers you at least need your midfielders to have good off the ball movement and passing, which hasn't been the case with us so far today.

Januzaj has played on his own almost at times.

Good play by Januzaj. Odd stuff, this. Correct but strange overrule!

Yeah, been much better since the changes. Daehli time please.

Having a striker makes a difference.

Yeah, man of the match today. Good play with the assist. He looks a clear class above pretty much everyone else and has taken to reserve football well.

Guess, Daehli will be slowly integrated with the U21's full time like Januzaj was. There is a difference in physicality and this is the first time Januzaj has even played 70 minutes and beyond in a while for the u21's.

Would have been nice for him to get a cameo for 5 minutes, but Janzuaj had a few games as a unused sub too IIRC.

FT 2-0. Good win in the end. To be fair we started playing some great football once Cofie came on and Lingard, Cole and Januzaj had someone ahead of them.

Januzaj was class and easily Motm but Charni was very good in the second half also.

Januzaj has played 5 or 6 full games at least

Can only find 2 games where he has played full minutes. Against Stoke and Villa.

Fair enough though. Should have said it's his first full 90 in a while.

Under-21s: West Brom 0 United 2, McGinty 84', Cofie 86'

United's Under-21s made it five clean sheets on the trot with a hard-fought 2-0 success at West Brom.

Warren Joyce's side had to wait to make the breakthrough but late strikes by Sean McGinty and John Cofie were enough to take the three points.

A tight encounter ensued at The Hawthorns with United still limited in terms of attacking options at this level. Adnan Januzaj was asked to push forward and went through after only three minutes, latching onto Marnick Vermijl's long ball and beating Boaz Myhill, only for Smart to hack clear.

Myhill watched a long-ranger from McGinty fly over the top after 28 minutes but the best chance of the half fell to Januzaj again, as the Belgian's shot brought the best out of Myhill following a Tyler Blackett cross from the left.

The second half was equally competitive until the Reds came on strong late on. Januzaj was unlucky not to win a 65th-minute penalty when the referee reversed his original decision and Charni Ekangamene kept his composure inside the box to crack a curler against the bar as the pressure started to build.

The impressive Januzaj then got to the byline to cross for McGinty to hammer home with only six minutes left to finally break the deadlock.

Moments later, Anders Lindegaard's punt forward was missed by the defence and substitute Cofie was in the right place at the right time to place the ball wide of Myhill with his right foot.

United: Lindegaard; Vermijl, Fornasier, McGinty, Blackett (Cofie 68); Thorpe, Veseli, Cole, Ekangamene, Lingard (McCullough 90); Januzaj (Lawrence 88). Subs not used: Gollini, Daehli.

Didn't even know about this game. What's cofie doing back I thought he went on loan? Also anyone know anything about what's happening with schlupp?

We might have a deal for Schlupp already agreed verbally if we want him or even on paper, but won't really know till the summer anyway.

He's played 2 games for Leicester since he went back so we may be tracking him.

Oh I didn't know he went back. What about Cofie?

Cofie returned from Sheffield utd with injury only a month ago I think.

Reserve game- januzaj did well at last, Thorpe is classy and v versatile. Jesse and Larnell seem to have gone backwards whilst Veseli is not good enough. Good to see Blackett back and Charni did ok.

Cofie's on a youth loan (with Notts County) which means he can still play in U21 games for us if required/deemed useful. Pretty commonplace these days.

Ah okay, thanks for the info guys. I was just confused when I saw cofies name.

Cofie was on a month loan and has returned to us.
