United can't hold the ball up, which is fair enough, but they keep giving it away every time. Emeran is such a poor footballer. Jurado with a big mistake for Bolton's first goal, a header home that was too short and then Bishop should've saved the freekick.
4-0 loss. Could've been 7-0. Iqbal only positive here, decent cameo from Collyer though. The rest: so, so poor.
I've always been impressed with Collyer whenever I've got the chance to watch him play. He's a very cultured player who pings passes with either foot with ease and is quite mobile and nimble.
He looks a bigger talent than Charlie Savage to me and would be a better fit as a deep-lying playmaker in the team.
That's great to read about Collyer. Not had a chance to lay eyes on him so don't even know what type of player he is apart from reading he's a supposed defensive midfielder.
Is there any player that you would compare him with in playing style?
There is something about this team - they underperform time and time again. It makes you wonder about the management
Travis Binnion actually takes the EFL trophy matches, probably why they managed to win a few of them.
The lad in shorts and t-shirt in -5, doing the rounds online, deserves an honourable mention. Mad man.
I don’t see coherent, well-drilled attacking play esp the final balls and generally just poor defending. Hardley was one of the older players but he’s been a liability too often and both of our fullbacks can’t defend well.
I think we need to get a good U21s manager.
Rumour is Binnion will take over next season
Then we run into the same problem, needs a good U18s manager and if Binnion does well he will go elsewhere as first team coach/manager.
