Barclays Under-21 Premier League Elite Group
Kick-off: Friday, 25 January, 7:00 PM GMT
Location: Moss Lane, Altrincham, Greater Manchester (6,085)

This likely to go ahead ?

U21's haven't played in ages now.

Crap, I forgot to bump this one, I was thinking the game was Monday.

The U18 game wasn't called off for weather but because of Fulham playing in the Youth Cup, so I think there's a good chance this will be played. The U18s are supposed to play City instead now on the same day, being Saturday.

That's weird. It should be telecasted, if it's on.

At least the U18's went to Asia and then that 6 side a tourney. What was the last game the U21's played ?

The last match report is from December 19, but they've been playing closed door friendlies, or so I read.

U-21s postponed again

United's Under-21s are still waiting to get their Elite Group campaign underway after the home clash with West Brom was postponed.

The Moss Lane fixture became the third successive match to be called off due to the weather as officials were left with no option but to cancel Friday night's game.

The frozen pitch in Altrincham ensured that there was no opportunity to stage the Barclays Under-21 Premier League clash and there was the forecast of more snow ahead of kick-off.

Warren Joyce's side will be hoping the cold snap ends before the next scheduled date on the calendar - the trip to face Southampton at Eastleigh on 2 February.

Any idea of the results ?

And why can't they play these matches on the pitch where they are playing closed doors anyway ? Just broadcast it from there.
