U21s: United vs PSV

Perfect. Thought I could watch the first half before the Leicester game, but the kick-off has been delayed until 19:45 GMT due to traffic.

Feels like Mee does that an awful lot - and without having all the good attributes and promise that the likes of Harrison has, so you put up with the odd unforced error from them.

Is he still here at 21 because the more promising keepers are being loaned out / sold, so the weaker Mee is just being kept around to fill the U21 slot? Because I've never thought he offers much at all.

Yeah you need the numbers, both to help with first team training and to play at this level (when the most promising ones are on loan/first team bench/international duty). Of course you could try to get all the best young keepers but you’d struggle to keep them all happy.

Graczyk had a couple of good games. Had some amazing saves. Strange lately he is constantly on the bench

FT

1-1

United definitely deserved something from the game, especially after an improved performance in the second half.

Williams and Fredricson the best of the bunch for me. Ogunneye good too.

I think everyone is - understandably- more excited about Obi-Martin but Biancheri is surely banging on the door a bit louder right now?
Yeah he seems like someone who may become useful off the bench for the first team at some point. Probable next step is to see if he can score goals on loan in the lower leagues, which is easier said than done - but he ‘knows where the goal is’

Biancheri and Scanlon are I'd say 90% likely to go out on loan to a League One or League Two club in January. Wheatley probably to a Championship side.

Biancheri looks an Interesting talent, exceptional movement, brilliant at showing for the ball, rearly loses it. Very sharp in the box, can he do it a higher level? I haven't seen him in any of the training pictures with the 1st team. He knows where the goal is, a good loan and you never know how far he could go.
