Barclays Under 21 Premier League
Kick off: Friday, 8 November, 7:00 PM BST
Location: Moss Lane, Altrincham, Trafford

United's Under-21 fixture with Stoke City, scheduled for tomorrow night at Moss Lane, has been brought forward to 1pm GMT at the Aon Training Complex. The match will now be played behind closed doors. (AM)

Amos, Valera, Thorpe, M Keane, James, Fletcher, Ekangamene, Cole, Zaha, Fabio, W Keane

Subs: Pearson, Love, Barmby, Lawrence + keeper (can't remember who!)

Will Keane off within 5 minutes with what sounds like a nasty head cut. Tom Lawrence on in his place.

Will Keane has been subbed after 4 minutes with a bad cut to the head.

Claret everywhere.

Tom Lawrence on as a replacement.

Fabio is playing LB with James at LM.

Good play by Lawrence and Cole and it sets up Fletcher 12 yards out in the middle of the goal and the keeper makes a good save.

First time I have had the chance to see Varela. I like the look of him. Very good on the ball.

Good run down the wing by Zaha, past a couple of players and the cross comes to nothing.

Moyes and Round both watching. Moyes' press conference is soon so he won't watch the whole game.

This is like park football. Every time the ball goes out of play one of the players have to run miles to get it!

Great chance!

Sloppy play in the middle of the park by Stoke, Zaha intercepts and goes past one player and is left with only two defenders. Takes on one of them to the right side and uses his pace to get past him and into the box and then shoots wide from a really good position.

Zaha really could demolish this team and any team at this level. My concern is his attitude. He does not seem REALLY up for this.

Shocking challenge!

Stoke LB straight through Fletcher with his studs up. In the PL that would have been a sending off more often than not. He was booked.

Kinda feel sorry for the Stoke LB. He has struggled the whole game against Zaha. Then gets booked and has Zaha attacking him the whole game.

Lamb to slaughter.

Sloppy first half. I figured Paddy would probably be slightly less drunk than usual due to the early kick-off, but if anything it's the opposite. That, my peeps, is dedication.

Moyes back watching the game.

We have a had a few good positions from corners and free kicks

Should have just had a penalty. Barmby nudged from behind when going into the box. He stayed up as long as he could.

That is why players dive.

F-T 1-0 to Stoke

Disappointin performance against a side with 10 men for the left 30 mins.

Zaha played well. Fletcher played the full game. Other than that it was very poor.

Dull performance in every sense of the word. Too many players lacking a bit of sharpness on the day, very unnecessary defeat.
