MUTV is not doing away games these days, which is odd.

MUTV camera crew is going there, but no telecast. There will be only highlights.

Guess, there are no commentators or something ?

Good chance of Zeki Fryers playing against us, btw. Will be a pretty tough match.

Would have been good to see this one. :(

It's not Live on MUTV, so no.

Don't think Spurs have any TV station either.

Why do it at such silly times? Noon? I think they could generate a decent return on people watching reserve matches if they were made available at a desent time.

Btw, on another note Kinda sucks we went out of the Youth Cup so early and are not in that Europe Next gen league either. Watched one match of that on a river and it seemed decent quality competition.

Would have been a good opportunity, but we now we have more knowledge of the setup as I believe they were only recently implemented, correct? If so, hopefully we can make a better push for it next season, wouldn't mind SAF trying to bring a few more youngsters into the youth squad, he has been a bit quite recently compared to his usual flocking of the younger players

Team v Spurs:

Not in order as yet

Johnstone, Vermijl, Blackett, Brown, Fornasier, Tunnicliffe, Thorpe, Ekangamene, Januzaj, Powell, Van Velzen

Subs: McGinty, Sutherland, Lawrence, Lingard, Cole

#mufc U21 xi: johnstone, powell, brown, tunnicliffe, blackett, fornasier, thorpe, vermijl, charni, januzaj, van velzen

#mufc u21 subs: sutherland, mcginty, lawrence, lingard, cole

Edit - Beaten. :p

Guess, this means no Januzaj/Powell against Reading ?

--------------Johnston-----------------------

Vermijl-----Brown------Fornasier-------Blackett

----------Thorpe----Charni-----Tunnicliffe------

---------------Januzaj-------Powell-------------

-----------------Van Velzen---------------------

Something like this, i guess. Powell/Van Velzen can be the other way round.

Not really, playing in this match wouldn't harm their chances of playing ten minutes in the cup. Although I highly doubt Januzaj will be involved, I expect him to start travelling with the squad the way Pogba used to, if he isn't already

Team v Spurs:

1. Johnstone
2. Vermijl
3. McGinty
4. Brown
5. Thorpe
6. Fornasier
7. Cole
8. Tunnicliffe
9. Januzaj
10. Powell
11. Lingard

Looks like a 451 with Januzaj right, Lingard left and Powell playing up top.

That makes more sense, midfield onwards.

Mcginty ahead of both Vermijl and Blackett interesting.

According to Doronsalomon on twitter, Vermijl is playing instead of veseli.

Also I expect us to lose this match, Spurs have a very strong team.

Do you have the Spurs team?

@DoronSalomon: Very very strong spurs u21 side that includes fryers, livermore, naughton, parrett, carroll, obika and kane

Spurs not allowing live coverage apparently and not even allowing people to take Pics on their Phone. Weird.

Spurs U21 team: Miles, Byrne, Fryers, Livermore, Naughton, Luongo, Parrett, Carroll, Obika, Kane, Ceballos

1-0 to Spurs. Obika scores after Brown fluffs a clearance. Januzaj a bit lazy, didn't make an effort to stop the cross

Their really isn't a Out and out striker available tbh. Wilson is injured too.

I know, we loaned or sold all the ones who were available, even John Cofie who had come back from loan. It's about development so it's fine, even if the results suffer.
