With the title already confirmed, it's anyone's guess what the team will look like tonight, some u18 second year scholars? Some team news is already in though

Glad to see Harrop and Willock back involved. I rate their technical ability on the ball.

LvG must be taking some serious measures with Jones this time around.

Almost like LvG picked that team after a scout report from Giggs.

Sweepstake Time.

What injury will Phil Jones pick up in this game?

Other (Specify):
You missed penis!

First dumb challenge of the game by Jones, oh and I'm going for shoulder

Despite playing 287 defenders and nothing to play for, the U21 match is still more enjoyable than watching the first team.

The team selection night is more of a last chance saloon for some of these players, varela, mctominay, Redmond for example.
McNair trying to prove he can do well in midfield and may save his utd career.

The omission of weir, rothwell and pereira arguably our most consistent performers along with Harrop suggests we are using last few games to take a final look and do some experimenting

All of them are injured or in the case of Harrop coming back from injury.

McTominay and Redmond have both already got new contracts

Did they need new ones already having only just stepped up to the u21s this year or is it a show of faith from Joyce and the coaches?

Both would have been out of contract in the summer as far as I know

Amusing watching a full outfield ten of CHs, FBs and DMs trying to attack. Approach play consistently hits a brick wall.

How can a line up like this be conceding from a set piece?

2-0 Saints. Shit from Jones to get give away a Fk. Even shitter from Johnstone who punches it into the back of Paddy Mac's head and into the net.

januzaj still injured then?

jeez. what a waste of a season.
He could do with a loan somewhere next season. A proper one, not another Dortmund situation.

United pull one back through willock. Goalkeeping howler. Mitchell on for Jones after 76 mins.

Mitchell looking bright

EDIT: He's looking great.

McNair looks much better in this midfield role.
thats a surprise considering how slow and positionally suspicious he is for a defender and decent on the ball, he's future DM, not in our team though
