I wish they were playing this at Old Trafford. I know playing in Leigh will draw in the Scousers, but we could get at least 10,000 punters if this were being held in Manchester.

Big Felli in the U21s lol

There will be kids crying in that Liverpool team once the night is done

Good attack. Powell with a through ball to Pereira though a Liverpool-players gets in the way. Corner to United, which didnt end up in anything.

Despite being savagely megged by Sinclair just a moment ago, Varela have been much better today than he's been previously.

Liverpool with a huge chance as Sinclair gets a golden opportunity almost at the goal line but scuffs the shot and Romero can easily gather the ball.

Fellaini playing as a holding midfielder today, and he's been invisible besides the goal. Doesnt really seem to know where to position himself, and the game is passing him by when we're defending.

Anyways, thats half time and United are 1-0 up.

United got a good chance at the counter at the end, though Pereira decided to dribble and thus losing the ball rather than put in a cross.

Varela and Pereira as the bright spots in that first half, and that kid Rossiter (?) for Liverpool looks completely shite despite all his hype.

Powell is looking sharp aswell although he hasn't seen much of the ball.

Weir was sharp whenever he ran with the ball.

Powell was largely shit but made a great run right at the end

Powell does not look like someone who's disillusioned with football. He looks a lot more determined than usual if anything. Most likely just another bit of disgraceful journalism

Word. Been excellent all season, simply a bit too good for this level.
Without wanting to overhype him, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't trained with the first team a bit more given Darmian's recent form.

Powell with a tap in after a brilliant team move.

The little cnut who scored their second seemed to be trying to do the Sturridge dance during the celebration - must be contagious.
