U21s : Manchester United vs Everton

Began to get really annoyed by this Rafael-the-U21-regular thingy. We have only 22 bloody matches with 6-7 players hardly played.

Until he can prove his fitness then McNair is ahead of him in the pecking order.

I don't get what fitness he has to prove when he has already played in the last 2 U21s matches and it's not like he had a long injury before that.

U21s league should be where the first teamers get their match fitness but not where they play just because they couldn't compete for a spot in the first team.We have other players need to play at this level.

Is Valdes also starting? Interesting that Van Gaal thinks Rafael needs so many games to reach full fitness.. You'd think 1 or 2 games would suffice

anyone with a stream that is working - feel free to send me a message

and we are fielding 7 defenders...I feel the water dripping in my mouth already

Bit of a scrappy game without much substance imo. Willo was getting battered out there, anytime he found a bit of space he'd get hacked down. Thought he was going to knock a few feckers out. Nice mazy run by Harrop which would have been amazing if he was able to get the finish. Good set-pieces from Andreas and few bits of brilliance like his turn and attempt into the bottom corner. Powell looked decent before the injury too.

Would have been great if that Liam Walsh guy got sent off to go with his red card on the weekend.

Only could watch the last 10 min. Will watch the replay but good to see Love,Grimshaw and Weir all started.Hopefully Rafael won't have to play the next U21s game.Sounds like Grimshaw did well which is encouraging (for his own career).

Weird that we loaned Kellett but he only sat on the bench so far.
