U21s : Leicester City vs Manchester United

hopefully wilson plays because without him there wont be anything to watch.....one of the worst sides we had in U21:drool:

Hopefully Januzaj, Pereira & Powell as well.

not a fan of his so i hope he wont play and someone younger plays instead....we could actually field a great side but im pretty sure we will again have to watch Grimmy and co.

Better football from United after the goal.

Not the lack of experience in the side that's concerning, its the lack of talent.

Lack of talent because the talent is either further down the pipeline, out on loan or with the first team squad. Not really concerning.Send a few more on loans (Grimmy etc) and promote a few more and we'll see a good side again.

Your not wrong, and there is talented individuals on the pitch, TFM for ex. Its just this is probably the weakest reserve side I can remember watching, which is slightly concerning to me.

I was hoping to see Gribbin play regarly in the U21s this season

For me Grimshaw,Love and Weir should be loaned out with the likes of Tuanzebe,Rashford,Reid and Mitchell (some are injured though) replace them in the team.Though look at how they played so far I wouldn't be surprised if there is no team interested in them.

He started the game as attacking mid pretty much. My stream went bust after that so haven't watched since the 25th minute.

Has he shifted to cb?
which role was he better in?

I wouldnt say he was AM, it was more of a midfield three.....he moved to CB probably around when your stream died, Grimmy moved to midfield. He was better as CB as we play awful so our midfield is invisible.
LVG will be proud, playing shit and having a positive result

Agreed. Can't fault their character/commitment, it's got them this far at MUFC after all.

I love Harrop. He's got a little bit of something special.

I thought that was a decent start for this new-look side. First 20 minutes aside, we held our own against a much more experienced team and the younger lads showed that they have what it takes to play at this level.

Loved Joyce's post-match interview. Apparently, we chose less illustrious pre-season opponents to give the boys as different a challenge as possible; poorer venues, poorer pitches and - get this - poorer footballs. Now that's the kind of attention to detail required to produce first-teamers.
