I thought it might be interesting to see which reserve/youth players have impressed people the most so far this season, here at the half-way point. How about a top 6 for each team?

I'll count up the scores and give the 'Caf Top 6' for each. Check out the stats pages at the bottom if you need a refresher.

U18s:

1. Mats Daehli
2. James Wilson
3. Ben Pearson
4. Adnan Januzaj
5. Donald Love
6. Andreas Pereira

Don't feel I can comment on the U21s, partly because I keep missing their games () and partly because it's so chop and change this season. Lots of people who've been very good but in only a few outings, which doesn't seem fair on the consistently solid types.

u21s:

1. Petrucci
2. Lingard
3. King
4. Tunners
5. Thorpe
6. Wwoottoonn

u18s:

1. Dæhli
2. Pearson
3. Wilson
4. Grimshaw
5. One of the Belgians
6. The other Belgian

The u18s list is especially tricky. Very harsh on Rudge, Weir and Gollini.

Probably this. Although think Love also deserves to be in there.

U21/Reserves:
1. Jesse Lingard
2. Michael Keane
3. Scott Wootton
4. Marnick Vermijl
5. Davide Petrucci
6. Sam Johnstone

U18/Youth team:
1. Ben Pearson
2. Adnan Januzaj
3. Mads Daehli
4. James Wilson
5. Donald Love
6. James Weir

It's a bloody tough shout for the U18's especially.

21s
Powell
Vermijl
Tunnicliffe
King
Macheda
Thorpe

18s
Januzaj
Daehli
Wilson
Pearson
Pereira
Weir

U18's:

1. Daehli
2. Januzaj
3. Wilson
4. Pearson
5. Pereira
6. Love

Daehli is easily top for me, but from 2-4 is easily interchangeable. Pereira has been good when I've seen him, especially considering he's a new purchase and needs to settle, and Love has been good all season (notably the game against Spurs)

Don't feel I can comment on the U21's in the same manner, as I've missed games and there's been players out of position in most games. From what I've seen I thought Tunnicliffe and Powell have both been great.

Have seen every U18 game but missed a lot of the U21's so will only do one list.

1. Wilson
2. Daehli
3. Pearson
4. Love
5. Weir
6. Januzaj

The one that I didn't expect to be on the list at the start of the season was Donald Love.
