U21/U18: Best of the Season So Far

I thought it might be interesting to see which reserve/youth players have impressed people the most so far this season, here at the half-way point. How about a top 6 for each team?

I'll count up the scores and give the 'Caf Top 6' for each. Check out the stats pages at the bottom if you need a refresher.

Don't feel I can comment on the U21s, partly because I keep missing their games () and partly because it's so chop and change this season. Lots of people who've been very good but in only a few outings, which doesn't seem fair on the consistently solid types.

With Januzaj playing 6 games for the youth team and 7 for the reserves I ended up not putting him in either 6, but he's a good choice.

Yanooze has to be there in either list imo.

I put Adnan top of the u18 because, even though he's not played as many, when he has played he was head and shoulders above the rest. Even when they all get a game in the u21s he stood out. That is what it's all about at that level.

If it was a 'most likely to succeed' list, he'd be a good shout.

I'm definitely trying to stay away from that, we get enough speculation with these guys. But it seems fair to me to just consider Januzaj part of the U18s, so I added him to my list.

Daehli is easily top for me, but from 2-4 is easily interchangeable. Pereira has been good when I've seen him, especially considering he's a new purchase and needs to settle, and Love has been good all season (notably the game against Spurs)

Don't feel I can comment on the U21's in the same manner, as I've missed games and there's been players out of position in most games. From what I've seen I thought Tunnicliffe and Powell have both been great.
