Big game for United against a team that has only won two games this season. If the U18's win they will go 7 points ahead of Liverpool who will have 2 games in hand then.

Where's Traore at the moment? Is he injured?

Great finish to the match. Absolutely shite pitch though. Greenwood did fantastic for first goal in the build up.

The moment O'Connor gets involved, something good happens. Laird was pretty good too, the Wolves LB wasn't all that good to be fair

Greenwood's something else, isn't he? What a player he could turn out to be. This U18 team has some really cracking players in it, without going over the usual names I'm really liking Galbraith and Laird. What sort of fixtures are we looking at towards the end of the season now? This win puts us in good stead for the title.

Lots of good performances but Garner, O’connor and Greenwood were all quality.

Brilliant, cheers.

Those last two fixtures are looking very important then. It'd be very nice for the lads to get a taste of beating the Scousers early on in their careers, something they can hopefully get used to.

Hopefully they can get it won by then, two easier fixtures against the weaker sides Boro and Blackburn, and hope Liverpool 'slip' up.

Yeah you're right, didn't realise where Boro/Blackburn were in the table.

Liverpool have got a rearranged fixture away to Man City on 28/03, so hoping for a draw there, and if we win our two 'easier' games the results in the last two matches shouldn't matter, though it would be nice for the lads to win it at Kirkby obviously.
