Everton definitely lost anyway. Everton's site definitely lists them as having played 25 games now, and while the latest premierleague.com bulletin has them down as having played 22, i think they've played three games since then (Thu-Sat-Tue) so that ties in with what I've worked out.
premierleague.com should confirm it in the next day or so anyway.
Right, I thought that I'd worked it out, and then I realized that the table was updated after the last results given.
According to the
Premier Academy League Bulletin, the table is correct to the 22nd April:
So, we should be able to project forward from that. United and Everton have played twice since then, West Brom only once:
Man Utd: Derby (3-1), Man City (3-2).
Everton: Newcastle (1-0), Stoke (1-2).
West Brom: Nottingham Forest (4-0).
Therefore, depending on whether Everton's game against Crewe which was played on the day that the table was last updated is included, the table should either look like this:
1. Man Utd P26, W15, D6, L5, F55, A30, GD+25, 51Pts
2. West Brom P25, W11, D9, L5, F51, A28, GD+23, 42Pts
3. Everton P24, W12, D5, L7, F46, A29, GD+17, 41pts
Or, this:
1. Man Utd P26, W15, D6, L5, F55, A30, GD+25, 51Pts
2. Everton P25, W13, D5, L7, F48, A29, GD+19, 44pts
3. West Brom P25, W11, D9, L5, F51, A28, GD+23, 42Pts
Apparently there are 10 inter-group games, making a total of 28 fixtures per season.
The winner of Group C will face Arsenal, winners of Group A (by a long way, although it isn't a very strong group, by the looks of it) in the semi-final playoff.
I wish I hadn't started this, to be honest.
