Lovely through ball from Riley to set Gribbin one on one with the keeper, but the shot went straight at the keeper. Should have done better there.

FT:0-0.Two good balls from Gribbin could have make a difference but Dearnley and Scott both wasted it.Defensively we are solid although Liverpool still have some good chances.

Good match. Thought we ran the midfield and controlled the game, but both sides had good chances. Chirivella was excellent and Kent played well too. Both keepers looked good.

Mediocre game from both sides, I thought, and not much in terms of entertainment. We're certainly capable of better and for Liverpool's sake I hope they are too. They probably had the better of the game in midfield but arguably did less with it.

Both defences were pretty solid, to be fair.

Saw him at moss lane. Has a wonderful calmness about him. Reads the play well with fantastic physical attributes from strength to decent speed.

Has a touch of marcel desailly about him.
