KO 12:30 pm BST at Aon Training Complex, live on MUTV.

With only 3 days left until the FA Youth Cup clash vs. QPR, this match will likely serve as an indication for the line-up on 22 December (either same XI as today or everyone in the Youth Cup XI will be rested).

Gomes will probably start as the game is on the same time as Wilson's game so i wont be watching.....

Extremely young u18 team with an eye on the Youth Cup with u16s Gomes, Thompson, Barrett, Tanner start & Monteiro, Campbell, Spratt & M.Dunne on bench and Makela and Kenyon out of position as fullbacks
Moutha-Sebtaoui. Makela. J. Dunne. Barrett. Kenyon. Thompson. Sang. Tanner. Gomes. Boonen. Deidrick-Roberts
subs:M. Dunne. Campbell. Da Silva Monteiro. Spratt.

XI: Moutha-Sebtaoui. Makela. J. Dunne. Barrett. Kenyon. Thompson. Sang. Tanner. Gomes. Boonen. Deidrick-Roberts

Subs: M. Dunne. Campbell. Da Silva Monteiro. Spratt.

Basically confirmed the XI for the Youth Cup as GK - Warren,Tuanzebe,Williams,Hamilton - Scott,Whelan,Fosu-Mensah - Kehinde,Gribbin,Rashford

Cheers JB, who to look out for from the younger players?

Gomes the obvious one. I like the look of George Tanner he normally plays on the right and is a very good dribbler and scores a few goals as well, Lewis Thompson has always been highly rated and played above his age group and has played cb, lb and dm and played lb for England u16s last year. Venancio Monteiro was called up for Portugal u17s a few months ago and is a good dribbler and very quick

Barrett is another good defender coming through, though probably a bit short for the role.

Seems someone else is managing the team today.McGuinness just watch from the sideline.

1-0 United (Boonen).Very good link up play from Tanner,Gomes and Boonen with a great chip by Gomes for the assist.

You can see why an Academy stadium would be beneficial. The wind affects 90 percent of our home games at this level and its ridiculous really.

these guys look a lot more promising than the ones who usually play :)

Kershaw made a good point that the players on the field are really suited for the 5 at the back system.

Dont know much about Tanner but was impressed with him in that half.

I can see George rivaling DJ as my favourite Tanner.

All falling apart now. Gone from a 1-0 lead to being behind in only a few minutes really

That was such a funny goal to concede.Spratt just came on and seem didn't know the position yet so missed out on the Boro attacker.

FT:Boro won 2-1.Was such an entertaining match to watch but heavily impacted by the wind.Hope we'll get that mini stadium sorted out soon.
