We’re looking to get back on track after two defeats on the bounce. Liverpool started the season in an abysmal fashion but have been in decent form recently. We beat them 2-0 at home in August.

Really hope we get some forwards back for this one and the FAYC tie against Chelsea on Wednesday.

I think these last few games have/will be hopefully more beneficial to these players in the long run. A difficult sequence of games against really good teams after losing 2 in a row…it’ll be interesting to see who steps up with injuries being a factor currently also.

Agreed. Last year was amazing but adversity is just as crucial for development.

For a week MUTV/manutd.com gets an error when it's auto logging in.. Still not fixed. Anyone else experiencing it?

Is Ibragimov injured? Has missed several games lately.
Good to see Lacey and Devaney back. Also interesting to maybe see Overy at last

Corner to back post and Mills gets it back across goal and Musa heads it over the keeper and into the net

When you see the U18 compared to the first-team in pressing - it's like night and day. When a Liverpool-player gets the ball - within half a second a United-player is pressuring him...when you watch the first-team, sometimes opponents can have 1-2 seconds before they are under pressure.

Superb run from Scanlon is blocked in the last second .The ball comes out to Munro on the right and he gets a perfect cross in - and Musa with a superb header surrounded by 3 Liverpool-players who all fail to clear the cross

Very good peformance from United so far. Especially attacking-wise, considering all the players we’re missing.

Tyler Fletcher has missed a couple of easy passes but I just love watching him play. Looks so effortless.

Came from a huge United-chance - but Munro for once was really sloppy in his final pass. And Liverpool ran the length of the pitch and scored. Should have been a big chance for us and ended with a goal against

Then again a cutback to the penalty spot is very often the best option in that situation. Just no one there this time.

Interestingly, Chelsea are also playing today and have rested almost their entire team ahead of the Youth Cup game. They're basically playing with an U15/U16 side.

Kukonki is big and quick, but something is missing as a LB or LWB.
Thwaites is excellent but also for me is more impressive in the middle. Armer has something very classy the way he plays and moves around.
All in all a good performance, shame to concede a really needless goal
