Do any of you know which players were around from our 94-95 generation when the season ended ?

I would assume the following should be there: Raheem Hanley, Luke Hendrie, Jack Barmby, Kenji Gorre, Tyler Blackett, Ben Pearson, Tom Lawrence, Jonny Sutherland - and in addition we have signed Joe Coll and Luke McCullough for next season.

So who else is still around ?

What? 94-95 generation?

I think Raheem Hanley has left the club. We also have a central defender from Cyprus but im not sure of his name

There were only 4 or 5 u-16s players this season.
Hendrie and Blackett will stay.
I think Pearson, Barmby, Gorre and Sutherland are u-15 players.
Hanley will leave.

This is about as close as I have at the moment - will happily update it if anyone has any confirmed changes. This will obviously change in the summer as players get released and promoted from the academy.

PROS

Keepers: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Amos, Devlin

Defenders: Neville, Evra, W.Brown, Vidic, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Rafael, Fabio, J.Evans, Gray, Cathcart, C.Evans, Chester, Wootton, Gill, De Laet, Dudgeon, Smalling, Vermijl

Midfielders: Carrick, Fletcher, Hargreaves, Scholes, Anderson, Gibson, Possebon, James, Drinkwater, Nani, Park, Valencia, Giggs, Tosic, Hewson, Cleverley, Eikrem, Petrucci, Norwood, Stewart

Forwards: Brandy, Welbeck, Macheda, Berbatov, Owen, Rooney, Diouf, Obertan, Ajose, Hernandez, Cofie

Unsure if they have a pro contract?: King, Brady, R.Brown

ACADEMY

Massacci, McGinty, Fornasier, Pogba, Thorpe, Fryers, Tunnicliffe, Cole, M.Keane, W.Keane, Morrison, Hussein, Johnstone, Lingard, Giverin, Ekangemene, Coll, McCullough

U-16s probably to be offered scholarships

Lawrence, Blackett, Hendrie

U-15s

Barmby, Pearson, Kocsis, Sutherland, Gorre

Coll and McCullough are confirmed, like Ekangamene (same age group, so U16s now, scholars next season). Hendrie too, and Blackett and Gorre too I suspect. Don't think any of the other U16s have got scholarships. Gomes has moved on I believe (was at another English club last I heard, forget who), Barmby and Pearson are U15s.

Marveld in a couple of weeks will clear a few things up U16-wise.

Thanks - I'll edit above.

Kenji Gorre -- what happened to him? Thought we were getting the next superstar with him?

Nothing's happened to him...

Haven't heard him touted as the next superstar, not sure where that's come from to be honest.

what about pearson? (i hope i have got the name right)

You've got Sutherland down as likely to be getting a scholarship - pretty sure he won't be with us bringing Coll in. Doubt Kocsis is getting one either.

Ta. Re-edited. Not sure how useful this list is really - it'll be out of date soon.

Sutherland, Kocsis and Gorré are all U15s alongside Pearson and Barmby

Just noticed that Sutherland was born Sept 94-ish, hadn't occured to me that he was the year below - seems to have been around and on the radar for yonks.

Thought Gorre was a late-93, that might have come about because he was reported as already being 15 when Chelsea were reportedly trying to pinch him last summer.

Tom Lawrence is one who's not been mentioned yet.

Did Valerio Verre and Filippo Cipriani sign in the end from Roma? Found their names on another site?

Foster, Tosic, Hewson and Brandy are no longer at the club. Matt James is out on loan.

Lawrence, Blackett and Hendrie are definitely new first year scholars. So too is an Australian goalkeeper called Liam Jacob.

King, Brady and R.Brown are pros. I think out of next year's second year academy group only two players, McGinty and Fornasier, haven't turned pro and that's because they're still 16. The two academy students, M.Keane and Giverin, also haven't turned pro.

I've seen reports stating that W.Keane, Pogba, Tunnicliffe, Hussain, Johnstone, Fryers, Morrison and Thorpe have definitely signed pro deals. I haven't seen any info on Cole, Massacci and Lingard although I imagine they probably have turned pro.

It would probably be best if you split the U18s, even though they include a number of pros, away from the other pros that make up the reserves and first team squad.

Thanks for the updates

Not sure Fryers, Thorpe, Cole and Lingard have turned pro, missed the confirmation of them doing so if they have (surprised if Thorpe hasn't though). The official site definitely said Johnstone, Keane, Tunnicliffe, Pogba, Hussain and Morrison did.

Suspect Massacci will have, think most of the deals to bring in kids like him from abroad are done on the basis that they turn pro as soon as they turn 17.

Was looking into this as it piqued my curiosity, and am pretty sure Fryers, Thorpe, Cole and Lingard haven't turned pro yet (unless it's happened in the last month or so).

I thought I heard it mentioned in one of the reserve games towards the end of the season but at my advanced years I may have been mistaken. Apologies if I'm wrong.
