Walter Crickmer started it all...
United continued their good recent form with a well deserved 4-2 victory over Huddersfield at Carrington this morning. The young reds started slowly and after falling behind, it took a Sam Hewson penalty to level the scores after Febian Brandy had been brought down. Huddersfield took the lead again and with 15 minutes left looked like holding on for a win. However, Brandy scored good goal before Michael Lea hit the third in the last few minutes. To be fair, United were bombarding the Huddersfield goal in the last ten minutes. Then in the final seconds....Danny Galbriath was brought down...but he got to his feet and played a quick free kick into the path of Danny Welbeck who scored at the second attempt.

The youngsters are starting to gel and were well worth their victory.
