Celtic defeats Reds U18s
United's Under-18s were beaten by Celtic's Under-19s in a specially arranged friendly in Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon.
As part of the build-up to the two clubs meeting in the Champions League at Celtic Park on Tuesday evening, Paul McGuinness took his side north of the border for a friendly fixture with the Hoops.
Celtic's youngsters, currently top of the youth league in Scotland, ran out 4-2 winners at the club's Barrowfield training ground, just five minutes' walk from Parkhead.
The two clubs had intended to play a similar friendly before the Old Trafford match back in September, but the proposition didn't come in time for the English FA to grant approval for the match.
