Seems he's being fast-tracked to the U21s.Pretty amazing.Same age as Williams and Gribbin.
I prefer Margaery
only because there is no one to play for the U21....they are either injured or with the first team. Williams was fast-tracked, Warren is with the U21 just to make up the numbers, nothing amazing there.
Did well again last night when he came on. He's a proper defender
He's playing ahead of Reid who is older and we can easily move Poole back to CB and play someone else in midfield. Of course the number of unavailable players played a part but we don't usually promote U18s players just to make up the numbers, Joyce would rather play someone out of position.Can easily put Gribbin and Kehinde on the bench instead of him if he isn't rated.
Reid was injured as well recently so thats probably a reason why Warren get a nod before him....as for the other staff, Joyce likes his defenders.
No, He deserves to be in the U-21's team.. Did really well after coming on as well.
This. There have been times in the past where Joyce has put out teams with 6-8 defenders on the pitch instead of playing academy players just to make up the numbers.
He's going to be with the first team squad to play Wigan along with Tuanzebe, confirmed on the official website.

Would be amazed if he turns out to be anything more then a Championship player, happy for the guy but also think its harsh on Tyler Reid who outperformed him and is a much better player at this time. Talent wise its difficult to asses as Reid is stronger and faster then anybody on his level so there are question marks above his head but the difference is not big if there even is one.

think people almost forgot how much better Scholes was as a passer, what rooney does once or twice in a game is very average Scholses pass, his technique is of course superiour to Rooney's he used to hit it flatter, more pace on the ball while it still floated in the air just about well for the receiver, most of the time the crossfield passes are forward and not sideways like Rooney. What Rooney does can do most of the ball playing centerbacks of the likes of Evans etc.. it's the technique which reminds Scholes that makes people think about it like it is anything special while it is not..

Why, because we have to rate every player from our academy? Majority of academy players are not good enough for the EPL, specially for the better clubs so dont think there is nothing controversial in what i said as 90% of players will play in lower EPL teams, Championship or even lower.

Isn't Tyler Reid leaving the club? Could have sworn I read that somewhere on here.
Warren's a better defender than Reid while Reid is more physical matured and has more tools on his locker going forward.Thankfully look like Reid is staying anyway.
The academy is full of the type of defenders that Jose like (strong,quick,physical imposing).Osolunde could be another one though haven't seen anywhere near enough of him.Then there's Ethan Laird from the U16s.

Fair enough just didn't think many of us had really seen enough of Warren to make a judgement like that yet.
Very good prospect and I think he is better as a RB than CB. Definitely one for the future
