Dominic Yobe and Davis Nkausu have been given an extended training period with Manchester United.

The two Zambian under-17 internationals were brought to Old Trafford after they were discovered by Frank Lord, United's African scout. Lord visited the country last year.

Chiparamba academy director Nenani Banda, who is in Manchester with the players, said they have been impressive in training.

"The boys have been with the U-17 and U-19 teams that are preparing for an U-18 FA Cup semi-final against Charlton.

"They have been outgoing and accepted into the group," Banda told BBC Sport.

"The experience and the exposure they are getting is wonderful and I don't think they'll be the same when they return to Zambia.

"They have had conversations with Roy Keane and Ole Solskjaer over lunch."

Nkausu and Yobe are the first Zambian players to have a stint with United.

Africa is a gold mine of talented players. Moreover the Africans are the most endowed athletes and nothing better proves that than the fact that the only guys who have gone under 10 seconds in the 100m dash are all black people.

I am one for tapping all those talented young lads from Ghana/Zambia/Nigeria - great football traditions in those countries. Always have awesome young teams at the Junior World Cups.

I hope one of these two, if not both make it big at United.
