Scenario - you have to pick two out of three midfielders to play against Arsenal and Liverpool.

The three in question are Keane, Scholes and Veron.

Which two?

Keane + Scholes but if todays newspaper reports are right then there wont be a scenario

Against Arsenal - Keano and and Scholes

Against Liverpool - Keano and Butt

This thread highlights the dilemma that Fergie created for himself when he signed JSV. One he is yet to fully resolve imo.

it's a good problem to have IMO. the more the merrier! remember: it's better to have competition than to have none at all!

keane and veron for me.

it's a make or break situation. we'll know once and for all if veron is capable of becoming a class act. keane and scholes will be caught out by the arseholes and the scoushit again.

i think it's time we try something new against them.

You would think so but really has caused problems of when and where to play them, particularly Scholes and sometimes Veron.

it's a manager's problem to solve IMO. it's logical to have atleast 3-4 great rotation players in the CM.. real madrid have like 10 midfielders and they been winning the CL by miles the last couple of seasons.. we have 6 (including giggs, becks and butt) and we can't even get the job done properly..

still.. when we didn't have veron we lacked a lot of depth.. now we have it, so i think we have to utilize it.. it's only a matter of who should play which game.. it's better than using scholes all 60 games a year IMO.

Didn't need an essay - just a three word answer as to your choice.

Well I have to confess that I don't read all your posts - I mean a post in its entirety - because they're always soooooo long, and I don't have the patience. Not that they aren't informative - I'm sure they are, but I have a short attention span.

:)

i have noticed.. i do this purposely.. to screen out non-serious posters who are only looking to abuse my posts.. like dans for example.. hehehe.. writing long posts will make sure the ones reading them actually have something clever to say..

no offences to you by any means..

However, I believe SAF is still in charge - and he'll play all 3 (unless its one of those games where Seba catches a mystery virus - ala Leeds ;) )</strong><hr></blockquote>

Keane and Scholes. But I agree...it'll be 4-5-1 again with all 3 playing.

Providing they are all fit and not banned...

Keane and Scholesy lad

:)
