Tweets rarely show up anymore

Past couple of days only the odd tweet shows up for me in the Twitter Discussion thread.

Either get loads of these type of messages on the screen

Or the page just keeps trying to load and load and the top on my tabs bar.

Same here but I thought it was just my WiFi being a bit shit as they work fine on 3G. But yeah, I have to press the 'date' thing on them to get them to show up recently.

Think it's a chrome thing actually as the same's happening with chrome on iOS but mercury seems fine.

Are you using adblock? I had to turn it off for this site because it was blocking tweets.

I'm using Opera. Sometimes the tweets show up and other times they don't.

Think you might be right, just tried to get on but couldn't load,tried with Safari and worked fine

Nothing has changed with Tweet embeds so it's either something with Twitter or on the client side browser / net connection.

So not much I can do about it I'm afraid.

Most don't show up for me on Firefox, and I have to click on "date" to go to the actual tweet. Sometimes I see a bunch and get really surprised. Suspect it has to do with Adblock.

It won't be adblock, just a twitter issue as that's been slow for a few days which is as long as this has been happening.

Me too, fine on my phone & on work computer, ahem, on Chrome, but at home, also on Chrome tweet never ever show up. If I click on the 'date' stamp all I get is a scrambled up version with the message half way down the page.

Try disabling all your extensions and see if that makes any difference?

It's definitely something on your end, as it's working fine for 99.9999999991% of the forum populace

Oh I know it's something my end I just haven't got a clue what.

There was a time, when they were showing up fine, but not for the last few months. I think my computer is fecked tbh, I picked up something a while ago when I downloaded a player. I thought I'd eliminated it but my virus scanner keep picking it up and is telling me to back up my system & run a cleanup disk, but I'm too frightened to do it.
