Misfits too I guess, but not sure how they'll even cope without their breakout star.

I'm looking forward to Terra Nova. Starts on September 26th, it's about a future humanity where the world has been destroyed by war, pollution etc., so they decide to go back in time 85 Million Years to start a new civilisation on the Earth before humans got there. They end up fighting dinosaurs.

Sounds good but i bet it turns shit after a few episodes.

Depressing list. Boardwalk Empire and maybe Dexter are the only shows that interest me out of those.

Although the second series of How to Make it in America will air soon.. right?

A lot will depend on how the dinosaurs look. If the CGI is crap it will be difficult to take the show seriously

My 1.5 TB is full. Need to go buy one more now

Mines full aswell...i'll be buying a 2TB western digital hdd. Take a look at ssd's while you're at it.

As far as terra nova is concerned im afraid its doomed to failure because the asteroid that wipes out dinosaurs will wipe the colonists also. So much for creating a better world for humanity

Dinosaurs were meant to be around for over 100 million years weren't they? Why did they only choose to go back 85 million years?

edit: A quick wiki reveals the extinction event occurred about 65.5 million years ago. Still gives the humans a fair amount of time to live, although still seems strange to go back then

They're going back 19.5 Million years before the dinosaurs went extinct, I don't think it's an immediate concern.

Because its a better way to increase the ratings.

Scientifically i think even the flora and fauna would be harmful to humans. The atmosphere was also different back then.

With the benefit of hindsight shouldn't they have chosen a time period after that asteroid devours the earth ?

Did they forget about the dinosaurs? Or did they think "feck it, i've always wanted to see a live one"?

Hopefully those vehicles dont run on oil because there shouldn't be any oil 85 million years ago.

How do all the humans agree on going back, and if they don't aren't the ones that do decide to go back effectively killing the ones that stay behind by changing the course of history? That's not very nice

I think only a select few have the privilege of going.

Isn't that genocide?

They seem to have thought things through. Apart from the dinosaurs ofcourse

Wasn't global warming at higher levels as well?

There were periods where there were no ice caps, as occurs every now and then throughout history including in more 'modern' times.

2TB WD is what I want as well. How much?

SSD's are far too expensive for my liking

Not all life died. They just have to start living in water or learn to fly or something. Plenty of time to force evolution.

2TB 64MB Cache

*WD2002FAEX (6 GB/Sec)
*WD2001FASS (3 GB/Sec)

Both have a difference of 200 rupees or so. They have good reviews...should be around 4k.

Go for the 3GB Seatgate Barracuda with 7200rpm instead.

Only 500gb ones are good....anything above from seagate is a risk imo.
