Trying to remember a film

I just randomly remembered this film I watched once and I'm trying to remember what it was called. I remember one bit in like a trench warzone thing and this guy was laying on a mine and he couldn't get off it and some other guy couldn't diffuse it. Then sone French bloke arrived in a tank or something. Also there were scenes in a train station about the workers there. I think they were Hungarian or something, they were chasing a barrier jumper at one point and then someone was threatening to, or did cut someones throat on the platform.

I may have just described two different films there. I think they were the same one. Hopefully someone knows what I'm on about.

Spoony, if you know the name of the film, I reckon you shouldn't tell him unless he gives you money, or agrees to leave the forum.
