he impressed me in the first two games but he were shite in tuesdays game and after that tackle and the way he was whining at his team and the ref, he just comes across as a prick .
i'd rather go after a model professional who plays for the team and not themselves ie RVN

Jesus, all players make mistakes and every single player has made a bad challenge, doesn't mean we shouldn't consider him.

That said, Deportivo would be mad to sell, and wouldn't give him away for less than 30m imo. Still, he is an immense talent and easily the best striker in Spain atm.

Perhaps Depor could consider a straight swap with Disco? :D

This one sounded deliberate...As if he wanted to take revenge by injuring one of the best players of the team that had outclessed his team. May be he thought that La Curuna would have more chances next Wednesday with Beckham injured.

Also, I didn't like the way he tried to play mind games with Barthez before the game. "Barthez will be nervous" bla bla bla... He can feck off.

Anyway, Raul is better.

Elfie's reason might be wrong but I also think that Raul is better than Tristan and Raul has proven himself over a much longer period of time (yes he plays for and thus benefits from one of the best teams in the world, but so do alot of other star strikers). Too bad he'll never leave Real Madrid.
 
I would be very happy if we were to sign him...he seems a great team player who would be a great partner for RVN...he seems to play with great motivation all the time. I like him more than Raul as Raul is more of an individual talent...not so hardworking and not so dedicated..esp if he were to leave Real

I never said that Raul was better than Tristan BECAUSE Tristan had made a bad tackle on Beckham and played mind games with Barthez ! This is what I thought before the La Coruna game, and Raul is one of the best strikers in the world I think. A lot of people share my views.
