The 1980's animation classic > 2007 movie remake

1980's - Stan Bush music, Soundwave, Megatron actually a badass, quotable lines, Optimus Prime/Megatron inspirational scene fight and death.

2007 - Great animation and.... That's about it, really.

This gives you goosepimples.....

Transformers the live action movie is an abortion. Megatron is not a fecking plane, he's a gun! They changed Bumblebee into a cool car instead of a VW Beetle, too. Stupid Michael Bay ruins everything.

If Starscream watched football, he would be a Dipper. Megatron would be Real Madrid, Optimus Prime would be Barcelona. The race cars would be into Italian teams like Juve or Milan. Grimlock would like Man Utd.

I liked the the 2007, but I didn't feel a whole lot of connection to the 80's series. As a 'stand alone', it's fine.

Still can't see how robots die, mind you.

Loved the 2007 version, apart from this 1 very important point.

They are robots, they do not have vocal chords, or need to make noise by passing air through these chords out through a shaped orifice to communicate.

Bearing this in mind, WHY THE FUNK DO THEY HAVE MOUTHS THAT MOVE WHEN THEY TALK?

Most infuriating thing about the film.

The ONLY thing good about the 2007 movie was the cool air tech and air battles

megan fox is overrated

Apparently Soundwave is going to be in Transformers 2. I loved Prime but as a whole I was a Decepticon fan. It was all about Megatron/Galvatron, Starscream (the original dude with the high pitched vocals), and Soundwave (Yes, he was a cassette player but still... The voice)
