A transfer window is a term for all the paperwork involved in a transfer.
ie once the papers are in order the deal is approved and passed through the "pretend" window.

Yes I went for simple. There was a lack of images initially, as they didn't supply me with much. Those that we're given, in the end, are on the supporters gallery now.
