Transfer + Tactics speculation

I see Roy Keane today praise Del Piero ( so would I), and there has been some speculation about Makelele lately, who has to be a truly fantastic player considering that at least one of the forwards hasn't got any will at all to work for the team.
What do think about this, could something like this be on Fergies mind :

----------------------- GK -----------------------

Gary/Wes------Wes/Mikey-------Rio/JOS----JOS/Mike

------------Keane--------------Makelele-----------

----Becks/Del P.------Scholes---------Giggs-------

----------------------Ruud------------------------

4-2-3-1.

Hm?

Where is Veron?

feck off!

Of course I'm a Brann man.
The club has struggled seriously with economics over the last two years, after overspending in the 90's. Does it sound familiar ? Like building an extension to your stadium for about 2 million GBP because of FIFA regulations regarding the UEFA Cup. This was when Flo was still good, and in the team. We reached the quarterfinal vs Poo and eliminated PSV that year, not bad for an unknown club this size. But the spendings were too high, and soon the club couldn't afford high wages, so no top players would come to the club, and we have been putting a lot of emphasis in our youth policy lately, which is brilliant. But the situation is still difficult, beacuse we can't afford a decent goalscorer. So the team is actually producing the highest or second highest number of scoring opportunities in the league matches so far, but we have only scored one goal in 4 matches.
Nothing much to do about it, got to give the youngsters time!
Besides Rosenborg, Brann is the most popular club in Norway. We are usually at opposite ends of the table, but our home crowd is about as big as theirs.
Jajaja. My club has a great future. It is a matter of time before things are turned around in the club, and then we can be the only serious consistent opponent to Rosenborg. Reason ? We have over the last 30 years ( since the last league title ) had the biggest or second biggest homecrowd, alternating with Rosenborg every year, no matter what division. Even in away games, the teams we play against tend to pull the biggest crowd of the season when playing against us. So the club is and always has generated alot of interest everywhere in Norway.
The future has some work lined up for us, but at least it's looking good !!!
