I've been keeping an eye out for these odds quite often too, but you don't see much change in them unless a tabloid or website comes out with something big. I'd keep a close eye out for the top 6 players there though, those odds change quite alot, especially with June fast approaching.

Remember Mesut Özil was odds on to join United at one stage?

Yeah, nothing on paddy power, ladbrokes, skybet, or odds checker. I'll check some others now.

They change mostly when money starts pouring in betting one way or the other, usually fueled by the latest transfer rumours. The bookies adjust the odds to get people stop betting on one outcome and hopefully place money on another outcome. The keyfactor being the bookies want to set it up so that no matter the outcome they make money.

They are quite good at it to.

One of my favorites was from a few years ago, Joe Cole one day 4/5 to sign with United, two days later 10/11 to sign with Arsenal. Next day he signs with Liverpool.

Jake you should track the odds and the changes in them in graph form. So we can see the ups and downs and compare them to where the final odds were before the transfer happens or window ends.

Transfer odds are the shittest markets going.

Particularly Sky bet.

Also Jake, go outside FFS.

Lampard has just signed a new deal and so has Cole, and didn't Wilshire sign a 5 year deal back in January? They could at least stick to players that are possible if improbable.

Why? They are just in it to make money not to serve as an actual predictor of outcomes.

Since it's a waste of time to put players up that have zero chance of moving, although I suppose some people are stupid enough to bet money on Bale, Wilshire and Falcao so ok, easy marks I guess.

The problem with these lists is that they are based mainly upon how much Is stakes on each player. If I went and threw £100k on Aguero to move to United then his odds would go straight to around evens as they would assume I knew something. Then more people see his odds change dramatically and lump more on it and the odds get shorter.

P.Nev as a coach decent odds?

Isco is a decent price

Jack Wilshere just 4/1 that's interesting. Isco at 40/1 is probably worth a few quid.

Rooney for Bale

Spurs need a striker, Bale needs Europe, Mrs Rooney, London.

Bale at 3/1 to join Utd?

In reality it's more like 50/1.

Its possible to employ risk free strategies when betting albeit for a smaller profits.

I suppose if you find value in turning 5 quid into 6 quid then it is a good laugh. I prefer my vices with fixed outcomes though.
